Blink-182's Tom DeLonge Unveils Signature Fender Starcaster

Blink-182 guitarist and co-lead vocalist Tom DeLonge has unveiled a new signature Starcaster guitar by Fender.

This one-of-a-kind Starcaster has many changes to the original, released in the 1970s. It features an offset semi-hollow body, "C" neck shape, 12"-radius rosewood fingerboard and DeLonge's logo on the neckplate.

DeLonge's first public performance with the guitar was on display during Blink-182's current global tour in support of the album, One More Time.

He shared its video on Instagram.

"I love this guitar, I really do. It's the coolest guitar ever made. Firstly, it is called a Starcaster-that's the most important thing. It goes to space and expands your mind," DeLonge said in a statement.

He added, "I've streamlined the electronics, added the '70s headstock to round out the weight, and chose the matte finish with black hardware, so its look matches its modern feel. This guitar shows my evolution as a player but also has the hallmarks of where I came from and what I'm about."

Courtney Love Slams Taylor Swift As 'Not Important,' 'Not Interesting As An Artist'

In a recent interview with The Standard promoting her BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Sounds series, "Courtney Love's Women," Courtney Love slammed Taylor Swift, saying "she's not important" and "not interesting as an artist."

"Taylor is not important," Love said. "She might be a safe space for girls, and she's probably the Madonna of now, but she's not interesting as an artist."

It's not known why Love has a contrarian view about Swift now after having wished her a happy birthday in December 2021 via Facebook. She called Swift an "aspirational huge role model for many young women" at the time. The post also featured a photo of Love and her "occasional hair twin/neighbor."

Courtney also spoke about Lana Del Rey and Madonna during the recent interview with The Standard.

"I haven't liked Lana since she covered a John Denver song, and I think she should really take seven years off," she said. "Up until 'Take Me Home Country Roads' I thought she was great. When I was recording my new album, I had to stop listening to her as she was influencing me too much."

About Madonna, Love said, "I don't like her and she doesn't like me. I loved Desperately Seeking Susan, but for the city of New York as much as her."
