Bend Equine Horse Sanctuary/Adoption Center Event
On Saturday, October 26 from 6-10 pm, at Bend D’vine Chocolate Café & Wine Bar, 10% of food, wine and cocktail purchases, plus 100% of proceeds from a raffle, tickets for a “wine wall” and donations for this winter’s hay will benefit the horses at Equine Outreach in northeast Bend. Bachelor Village in Bend celebrates the opening of its new memory care neighborhood. Hill will share her experience caring for her mother, who died in 2009 of end-stage Alzheimer’s. At 4pm, Kristina Barragan, regional coordinator of the Alzheimer’s Association, will speak briefly, followed by refreshments and a public tour of Touchmark’s new facility at 4:30.
